Child and Family Rehabilitation Programme
Our Child and Family Rehabilitation Programme is dedicated to serving infants and young children from birth to 10 years old who are impacted by physical and neurodevelopmental disabilities. The goal is simple: to help them reach their full potential and achieve greater independence.
We bring our services directly to where they are most needed—in the home and community. Our team provides one-on-one, in-home training and therapy during weekly visits. These sessions include vital services such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and massage, which are essential for a child's muscle and cognitive development.
We believe in a holistic approach, which is why we also work to empower the families. Our "Family Matters Program" is a comprehensive parenting program that offers guidance and support to caretakers. Through "meet and talk" sessions, they can share challenges and coping mechanisms, helping them to raise their children with love and encouragement.
Finally, we promote social inclusion through our "Let's Play" initiative. This program brings children with and without disabilities together for inclusive, fun activities like chess, puzzles, art, and music. This natural environment encourages socialization and helps children develop attention skills and cope with emotional challenges, creating a space where every child can feel cherished and belong.
Our community-driven programs are designed to address the major causes of disability and break down the barriers that marginalize people. We organize quarterly
Medical Outreach Camps in partnership with local health providers to offer free health services like checkups for Hepatitis and HIV/AIDS to children with disabilities. Our staff also conduct.
Neighborhood Sensitization dialogues, engaging with neighbors to educate them on a child's impairment and create solutions to improve inclusion. Additionally, our
Men Empowerment program works to address the issue of fathers running away after a child's diagnosis. We equip them with the knowledge and skills they need to accept and care for their children with disabilities
Young People Empowerment Program (YAP)
We recognize that "there is no health without mental health". YAP empowers young people, primarily between the ages of 18 and 30, with mental health disorders and intellectual disabilities to build resilience and become involved in their life management.
Our service model uses:
Mindfulness-Exercises-Nutrition-To-Optimize-Recovery (MENTOR) activities such as meditation and yoga to help participants solve everyday challenges and overcome maladaptive behaviors.
